Born in Paris on February 11, 1934, He began to paint at age 14 and studied with the masters Gabriel Lacroix and Serge Mouille in the goldsmithing workshop of the Ecole des Arts Appliqués of Paris. Introduced by Jacques Savy art collector, he became the private student of the Fauvist painter Louis Neillot at “La Citée Fleurie”. At the age of 18, first participation in the Salon d’Automne et des Indépendants in Paris. |

In 1977, encounter at the Academy of Issy les Moulineaux, with the painters Jacques Boussard, Raya Safir and Alexandre Hinkis, creator of the "metaclassicism" movement, and with whom he became friend. From then on, he worked with them, exchanging viewpoints on painting, and sharing their experiences. |

From 1959 to 1960, taught at the Ecole des Arts Appliqués of Paris. Serge Mouille, "precursor of lighting", on sick leave, called upon Prévost to replace him. 1955/56 – Conscript in Germany then in Morocco. When discharged, he was head of a family. His fighting spirit made him use his esthetic sense in a decorator career. |

1987 – Born in Paris, he came back to the same places where he had painted his first canvas and settled his Studio “rue Burq” near the « Moulin de la Galette” in Montmartre. 1990 – At the spectacle « Tango Argentino » at the Mogador Theater in Paris, he discovered his fascination for argentinean tango. |

In 1970, understanding that his success in architecture and decoration doesn’t cancel his first vocation, he realised that painting was his real profession ; he made him built a Studio at Bièvres, not so far from Paris, to paint and only paint.. |

He then found a large Studio « Porte de Saint Ouen », in 1977 where he works and exhibits his paintings.
